Basic Trick #2: Bullseye

Now that you can spin your spinning top inside a small circle, you can try Bullseye. Bullseye uses the Top Spinning Target I mentioned in Basic Trick #1: Target Shoot above.

Since you have practiced spinning your top on the floor and you can consistently spin it on your target, it's time to add a smaller target. The Bullseye is a small tuna can placed at the center of the Top Spinning Target. Optionally, you could use a shoe or another small container to spin your top in.

You might have wondered if you can do anything interesting with your spinning top. How come all of the tricks so far are only spinning the top on the floor? Remember that we are working on skills that take practice. You will get to the neat tricks sooner than you think! Keep working through the skills and you'll have the spinning top in your hand in no time.
